Peasant skirts are out and pencil skirts are in - or so 'they' say
Damn!
According to a fashion 'guru' at London Fashion Week peasant skirts are out and pencil skirts are in. Why? I want to know. Nearly every woman, regardless of shape, size or height can wear one form of peasant skirt or another. Pencil skirts on the other hand can only be worn well by tall willowy women with no hips (to speak of).
I should point out that our 'guru' was male, declaring his undying hatred of peasant skirts - is that because they're comfortable and don't give the boys a chance to see what's what.
So a new trend is on the horizon and women all over the world are going to try and squeeze into something that doesn't necessarily suit them.
One article I read advised readers to 'bin' their peasant skirt - I say no! If you like it, are happy with it and it suits you - keep your peasant skirt. Don't be dictated to by a bunch of fashionistas who know nothing about you.
